Chris Vaughan

Chris Vaughan is the Chief Operations Officer at WaldoAir Corporation where he leads a comprehensive disaster operations program that delivers actionable insights following incidents of national concern.

Prior to joining WaldoAir, Chris was the Geospatial Information Officer for FEMA, where he championed and coordinated geospatial technologies across multiple programs as a means to improve information sharing across the emergency management community.

Chris has a strong track record for effectively leveraging geospatial technology and data analytics to create innovative applications across a variety of business intelligence requirements. He has worked effectively across federal, state, local, non-profit, and academic communities to promote geospatial programs, technology, and institutional structures.

Chris earned a master’s degree in counseling psychology and a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Lee University. He is also the graduate of multiple executive leadership programs, including Harvard University’s National Preparedness Leadership Institute, American University’s Key Executive Certificate, as well as the Federal Executive Institute: Leadership for a Democratic Society.
